- Participate in and complete the full PDC
- Share a short personal statement reflecting on the impact of the course 12-months after completion of the PDC (SPI will reach out directly with the request)

SPI Scholarship
The Story: In the fall of 2021 a student found themselves in the middle of a transformative experience. The mixture of being immersed in a group of like-minded learners along with encountering the ethics and principles of Permaculture left this student hungry to continue their own development and work on their own site. It also left the student wondering how to give back. The alumni thought: “How can I help others engage in this work?” They landed on the 'fair share' ethic of Permaculture and approached us with a proposal. The alumnus has offered to sponsor one student anonymously for each course over 10 courses. We are so very grateful at SPI for this alumnus’ generosity and commitment to the Permaculture ethics.
The Name: "SPI", in this case, stands for Seed, Propagation, Initiative. Our generous donor wants to help fund individuals who are going to:

Inspired by the generosity of our anonymous donor and alum, SPI is offering an additional partial scholarship reserved for students who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous or Person of Color).
