University of Richmond PDC 2016Slideshow of the 2016 Spring University of Richmond PDC. The design site for this course is called "Farmstrong" and is located in inner-city Richmond. You can see examples of the finished designs and accompanying presentations (of which the teaching team is incredible proud) towards the end of the slideshow.

Staunton, VA PDC 2015This PDC course was hosted by SPI and held at the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind campus in the fall of 2015. Slideshow coming soon! The picture to your left is artwork generated by a student-led exercise that taught us a technique for getting in touch with breath. Very cool!

Mycoremediation Workshop

This mycoremediation workshop was held at Dancing Star Farm in 2015. This approach used mushrooms to remediate glyphosate-contaminated runoff from a nearby farm as it enters the groundwater at Dancing Star Farm. This is super accessible, simple, and inspiring appropriate technology.
